The European Fund for the Balkans as a initiative designed to bring the Western Balkans closer to the European Union, but also to create a powerful regional network of partners and associates established its Community Programme as a platform for networking, communication and collaboration. In order to fulfil its commitment to strengthen the cohesion between its community members, young leaders, public servants, civil society activists, researchers, policy activists, students and professionals from all countries of the Western Balkans, EFB organized its first Community Meeting in Zagreb in the period between 11-14 of October, 2012.
The three days of excellent networking opportunities, helped to create links for future co-operation among the 100 Community members from all over the Balkans and the rest of Europe . They were all joined at the meeting which offered three days of stimulating discussions and the opportunity to share ideas with popular speakers about the current issues in Europe.
This video is a colorful overview of the EFB Community Meeting in Zagreb, where the participants of the different EFB Programmes that comprise the general EFB Community were actively involved in the numerous panel discussions, night owl parallel sessions and Open space training, sharing ideas with popular speakers about the current issues in Europe.
The purpose of this event was to help Community members make new contacts that will build stronger and more effective future partnerships for bringing positive changes in the Western Balkans region.
This special video offers a glance into the new fresh topics, brainstorming, exchange of ideas and jovial interaction that unfolded during the 3 days of the meeting as a continuation of the general EFB Community activities.
