On Thursday, 28th of February ,the Fellows of The Southeast Europe and the EU – Leadership Development Programme 2012/13 (Group V – Serbia) will organize the final event of the project “Imagine EU 2030”: Presentation of the students’ essay collection “Imagine EU 2030” and the panel discussion “Imagine EU 2030 – Can we anticipate the future of the European Union?”
The event will take place at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade, Room 1, starting from 16:00 (registrations from 15:30).
The opening remarks by the panel moderator, Kyriakos Chrysidis( member of the “Imagine EU 2030” project group) and Branka Panic (Programme Manager, European Fund for the Balkans representative of the Leadership Development Programme partners) will be an introduction to the panel discussion with the panelist Vladimir Medjak (Assistant Director, Serbian European Integration Office), Vladimir Todoric, (Executive Director, New Policy Center), Jovan Teokarevic (Professor, University of Belgrade,Faculty of Political Sciences), Jelena Babic (Project Coordinator, Centre for European Integration, Belgrade Open School) and Stefan Dragojevic (Student, University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law – author of the winning essay).
The Project “Imagine EU 2030” is implemented in the framework of “The Southeast Europe and the EU –Leadership Development Programme” generation 2012/2013. The Southeast Europe and the EU –Leadership Development Programme is organized jointly by the European Fund for the Balkans, the College of Europe and the TRANSFUSE Association. The Programme aims to transmit knowledge about the EU and its relation to the SEE, to stimulate the leadership and professional skills of participants and to encourage an exchange of views of young people who aspire to play an active role in the future of their countries. This project is the sole responsibility of the group members.
