The final event for the LDP 6th generation - Spring Seminar – will be organised from 21-26 April, 2012 in Belgium, in both Brussels and Bruges. During this seminar 30 participants will have the opportunity to meet policy-makers from the EU, members of the European Commission, European Parliament, and NATO and discuss with them, a number of issues that concern Southeast Europe and its future, EU-WB relations, Croatia’s Accession,etc. This five-day seminar also includes a day at the College of Europe in Bruges, as well as a panel discussion with Brussels-based think tanks related to the future of the EU and the impact of the Current Crisis on the Enlargment process. At the end of the Spring Seminar the participants will get the certificates and become members of the EFB Community. New call for application– Leadership Development Programme 2012-2013 is still on until Tuesday, 24 April, 2012, so everyone interested in applying need to hurry. The Leadership Development Programme was launched in 2006/2007 by the College of Europe and the TRANSFUSE Association. The European Fund for the Balkans began financing the programme in 2008 and since 2009 is organising it jointly with the College of Europe and the TRANSFUSE Association. It is part of EFB’s Experiencing Europe progamme. 30 graduate students from Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Greece, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Turkey are selected each year to take part in the 8 month long 'Southeast Europe and the EU – Leadership Development Programme'. A limited number of participants are selected from other European countries. The LDP is led by an Academic Dean who guides the participants through the different elements of the program.
