The European Fund for the Balkans organises periodic independent evaluation of its programmes and projects. The results contribute to better informed decision-making, fostering an environment of learning by doing and promoting a greater accountability for performance.
After evaluating Southeast Europe and the EU – Leadership Development Programme and Think and Link – Regional Policy Programme in 2012, the Steering Committee and the Secretariat decided to conduct evaluation of the Fellowship Programme for Young Government Officials from the Western Balkans – Supporting Excellence and Leadership in Governance.
In parallel with Fellowship Programme evaluation and for the purpose of upcoming strategic planning, the Steering Committee and the Secretariat decided to conduct overall evaluation of the European Fund for the Balkans work, in order to identify visibility level, performance level, achievements and lessons learned.
With this Call we are inviting proposals for an evaluation of the “Think and Link – Regional Policy Programme”. The evaluation will be independent and external, conducted in co-operation with the European Fund for the Balkans. It will provide the EFB with objective information for making the decision about the future of the Programme. More about the terms of the call can be found in the attached document.
