Milena Stefanović

Milena Stefanović has been a Program Manager with the European Fund for the Balkans since 2017. She has B.A. in Philosophy, from the Faculty of Philosophy, Belgrade, and holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration, from SDA Bocconi, Milan, and a PhD in Management in Culture and Media from the University of Arts, Belgrade.

Her professional background is diverse and covers experience from academia, private and public sector.  As a PhD candidate, she was as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Drama Arts handling human resources management, cultural diplomacy, and financial management. Her research focuses on the issues of public sector management and evaluation, memory studies, and leadership. Before joining EFB, Milena worked for one of the largest private corporations in the region, Delta Holding, with its International Relations Department, dealing with public affairs and lobbying. She gained experience in the public sector during a traineeship with the European Parliament in Brussels, at its Foreign Affairs Committee.

During her time in Brussels, she collaborated as a researcher with Human Rights Watch, and as a reporter with the South-East European TV Exchanges. She is a member of the Forum for Culture, which was established by the European Movement in Serbia. She speaks English and Italian.
